Tonight, Thursday May 21st, activists across the country staged vigils to demand that Congress let the Patriot Act expire! This falsely titled atrocity has been the stepping stone for agencies such as the NSA and the FBI to illegally spy on millions of Americans in the name of national security – which is complete and utter bullshit.
Tonight’s action marks a long fight against mass surveillance and because of this continued pressure, sections of the Patriot Act will expire this weekend! So, please do share these images and spread the word! (Credit Eleanor Goldfield and Art Killing Apathy)
